Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management celebrated its Graduation Day 2026 in collaboration with Alagappa University at a grand ceremony in MMA, Mount Road,Chennai, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of its students.
The event was graced by Honorary Colonel Prof. G. Ravi, Ph.D., D.Sc., Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Alagappa University, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the graduates, he emphasized the importance of lifelong learning, innovation, ethical leadership, and continuous skill development in today’s global economy.
A total of 800 students received their degrees across programmes including B.Sc. Catering and Hotel Administration, Diploma in Hotel Administration, B.Sc. Lateral Entry, and MBA in Hotel Management under the academic collaboration between Chennais Amirta reand Alagappa University.
Speaking on the occasion, Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions Chairman Mr. R. Boomee Naathan congratulated the graduates and thanked parents, faculty members, industry partners, and Alagappa University for their support. He noted that graduation marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning, leadership, and professional excellence.
He also highlighted the growth of the Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions, which offers career-focused education in Hotel Management, Aviation and Airport Management, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences, and Logistics and Supply Chain Management across Chennai, Chengalpattu, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Kochi and Delhi.
Chennais Amirta has facilitated over 31,651 national and international placements, helping students secure careers with leading hospitality brands across India, the Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Maldives, Mauritius, and other global destinations. With the recently signed MOU with Malaysian Association of Hotels Chennais Amirta Students would get opportunity to work with 1100 Malaysian Hotels in the association. With this Chennais Amirta has made another milestone in placements as Chennais Amirta is known for Placements.
Addressing the graduates, the Chairman said, “Your degree is more than a qualification; it is a responsibility. Carry forward the values of integrity, professionalism, discipline, and service excellence wherever your career takes you.”
The ceremony was attended by Chief Operating Officer Mrs. Banumathi, Dean Mr. Suren, Chief Academic Advisor Mr. Paul, and Principals from Nursing, Bangalore, Balkampet, Vijayawada &Aviation campuses.
