2 Days Veda Agama Thevara Spiritual Cultural Conference at Thiruvannamalai in the Presence of Aadheenams and Sivacharyars Expected to Participate More Than One Lakh Devotees

A Grand Two-Day Spiritual and Cultural Conference

A grand two-day conference on Veda Agama Thevara Spiritual Cultural Conference will be held at Thiruvannamalai on September 13th & 14th. The event will take place under the leadership of revered spiritual leaders including Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal, Pontiff of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, and Sri Sadagopa Ramanuja Jeeyar of Srivilliputhur and Sri Sakthi Amma of Sripuram, Narayani Peetam, Golden Temple, Vellore, Arulthiru Senthilkumar Adigalar of Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Peedam, Sri Balamurugan Adimai Swamigal of Rathinagiri, and Sri Sachidananda Swamigal of Kalavai.

Day One Highlights

The two-day conference is set to be planned in a very grand manner. On the first day of the conference, Saturday, September 13, a Maha Shiva Pooja will be conducted in the morning with the participation of 1,008 Sivacharyars from across Tamil Nadu. In the afternoon, a grand spiritual and cultural procession will take place with spiritual devotees and ‘Sevvaadai’ volunteers, accompanying the Swami. Following this, in the evening, discourses of great spiritual leaders will be held and they will extend their blessings.

Day Two Highlights

On the second day, Sunday, September 14, Thiruvilakku (sacred lamp) Pooja for the welfare of the world will be performed in the morning, along with the chanting of Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam. The Kanchi Mahaperiyava, Jeeyar Swamigal, all the Aadheenams and Sivacharyars of Tamil Nadu, as well as Sannidhanams, will participate in this.

Justice Ramasubramaniam (Chairman of the Human Rights Commission) and other eminent personalities will also deliver addresses. Following this, Sivacharyars, Gurus, spiritual leaders, Sevvaadai volunteers, and representatives of all communities will be honored and presented with mementos.

In the evening, a devotional music concert by Karthik Raja, son of Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, will be held.

Special Observance and Organizers

September 14 will also be observed as World Cultural Harmony Day. The conference is being jointly organized by Ilavarasu Pattam Dr. P. T. Ramesh Gurukkal, Arulmigu Arunachaleswarar Temple, Thiruvannamalai, along with Chief Organiser Sri. Jagadish Kadavul and the festival committee members.
