Actress Sreeleela Appointed as Brand Ambassador of Chennais Amrita Group of Institutions

Chennais Amrita Group of Educational Institutions, renowned for its excellence in hotel management education, proudly announces Sreeleela, the popular film actress, as its brand ambassador. The appointment was revealed by Mr. R. Boominathan, Chairman of Chennais Amrita Group, during a special event at Hotel Grand Vijayawada by GRT Hotel.

Established in 2010, Chennais Amirta International Hotel Management College has been at the forefront of imparting high-quality education in hotel management and hospitality across its campuses in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Vijayawada. In line with global educational standards, the institution has signed two new MOUs this year to enhance international exposure for its students.

In a significant move to redefine hospitality education, Chennais Amirta has signed an MOU with Birmingham Academy Singapore. This partnership offers students an international learning experience: completing their Diploma in Hospitality Management at the Chennai campus in the first year and advancing to the Singapore campus for an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management. Successful students will have an opportunity to pursue degrees at prestigious institutions such as De Montfort University in the UK or the Swiss Hotel Management School, ranked second globally.

Acknowledging the growing demand for skilled professionals in the aviation industry, Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions has ventured into aviation education. As part of this expansion, Chennais Amirta has signed an MOU with University College of Aviation Malaysia (UniCAM). Selected students will complete the first two years of their program at the Mount Road campus in Chennai before proceeding to Malaysia for a transformative experience. This includes six months of classroom education at UniCAM and six months of internship at Malaysian airports during their third year.

Mr. R. Boominathan, Chairman of Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions, emphasized the significance of these partnerships, stating, “The MOU with Birmingham Academy signifies our commitment to delivering world-class hospitality education. Our collaboration with UniCAM in aviation education is unique, providing students with international airport training—an unparalleled learning opportunity.”

The Chairman continued, stating that Chennais Amirta has been a pioneer in hotel management education, securing accolades such as the Gold Medal for India at the IKA/Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart, Germany. The institution continues to excel at prestigious events worldwide, including the Emirates International Salon Culinaire-2024 in Sharjah, UAE and many more. With over 25,000 students placed in various sectors globally, Chennais Amirta remains dedicated to providing world-class education at an affordable cost.

The Chief guest honoured and presented memento to Vijayawada campus student Mr.Basanta Kumar Jena, who won a gold medal in the live cooking category at the SICA ( South India Culinary Association ) competitions held at Bengaluru , a total of 55 medals , 2 Gold with distinction, 7 Gold medal, 13 silver medal and 33 Bronze medal were won by Chennais Amirta students from all campuses.

The Chief guest of the event, Mr. Kamal Deep Sharma, Hotel Manager at Hyatt Place, acknowledged the presence of Chennais Amirta students across many of their properties. He specifically mentioned Mr. Jamalpur Prashanth, a recent Chennais Amirta student, who was placed at Hyatt Regency in the USA with a salary of Rs. 1.85 lakhs per month.

The Chief guest of the event, Mr. MLK Reddy, Airport Director, Vijayawada, acknowledged the future growth of the aviation industry and the upcoming new airports, emphasizing the rising demand for efficient manpower. He welcomed the MOU signed with University College of Aviation Malaysia (UniCAM) and stated that this partnership would enlighten students about careers in the aviation industry.
