Round Table India – Round Table 100 Felicitates Its Donors
Round Table 100, a chapter of Round Table India, hosted a poignant and impactful event titled “Tribute to Superhero 2.0”, in memory of Late Shri Ratan Tata, a legendary icon whose vision and philanthropy continue to inspire generations.
The event commemorated a remarkable milestone — the successful execution of 10,000 chairs distributed across schools and hospitals under Round Table India’s national initiative, implemented by Round Table 100. The gathering was graced by the families of donors and supporters, who were also felicitated during the ceremony for their invaluable contribution to this mission of impact and upliftment.
Speaking at the event, Tr. Pravesh Jain, Chairman of Round Table 100, said, “This milestone is not just about numbers — it is about changing lives. Our chapter has proudly executed projects that include the construction of over 50 classrooms, toilet blocks in government schools, and the donation of vital infrastructure to government hospitals. One of our most heartfelt initiatives, Flight of Fantasy, gives underprivileged children the chance to experience their first airplane ride — a memory that lasts a lifetime and fuels dreams for the future.”
Tr. Karan, Area Chairman, added, “Through our flagship initiative Freedom Through Education, Round Table India has built 10,040 classrooms till date, with an average of 2 new classrooms every day. We’ve completed 3,960 projects, developed 3.78 million sq. ft. of educational infrastructure, and impacted the lives of over 11 million children — with a cumulative outlay of ₹537 crores.”
The event was a heartfelt tribute to the values embodied by Late Shri Ratan Tata — humility, service, and vision — and reinforced Round Table India’s commitment to nation-building through Education and Empowerment.
