Launch of National Talent Hunt by Cricketer Virat Kohli at Bengalaru

Premier Futsal has been developed to bring Indian players together with international Futsal players in the same way as local players participate in Premier League matches with international players for cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi etc. A total of 8 teams have been formed for this namely Mumbai, Goa, Cochin, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Delhi.

A 3-day player selection festival will be held in each city to identify futsal players in these 8 cities. A total of 25 players will be selected from each city and will undergo final training in Mumbai. Out of those 25, 5 will be finalized and allowed to play for the local team. In that case, 40 players will be selected across the country at the rate of 5 per city. One such huge sportsperson selection camp was held today in our Bangalore. International futsal legend Alessandro Rosa Vierra, popularly known as Falco, cricketer Virat Kohli, ambassador of futsal in India and Xavier Brito, founder of Premier Futsal Management Pvt Ltd inaugurated the Bangalore player selection camp. Speaking on the occasion, Xavier Brito said, “For the first time in India, we have taken up a brand new initiative to organize futsal tournaments for the first time in India. This is an opportunity to build an international foundation for Indian players. This selection camp is not only about identifying players, but also about raising them to international standards.” said..

Speaking at the event, Futsal legend Balko said, “This effort to popularize the game in India is truly commendable. I have played alongside international players. Now I am looking forward to meeting the local players in India.”

Virat Kohli, the Indian Ambassador of Futsal, said, “I am proud to be the ambassador of such an innovative sport in India. Sports helps us identify ourselves anew. I hope this sport helps India identify new players.” Players between 18 to 24 years of age can apply in person or online to participate in the Futsal selection camp. Applicants will be invited to the 3-day selection camp to be held in these 8 cities where the competitions will be held and they will be tested on physical fitness, sportsmanship, sportsmanship and tact. After this, 25 players from each city will be selected and taken to Mumbai for a 3-week final training session. 5 out of 25 will be selected for each city. The exam camp will start today and will continue till 21st June. India’s first International Premier Futsal League will be held in 8 cities for 10 days from 15th July to 24th July. It will feature 50 international players from 21 countries across 4 continents playing alongside our local players. The match consists of two 20-minute halves. There is no doubt that futsal tournaments will be a huge hit in India, creating a new thrill to watch and a new passion to play.
