Chennais Amirta Signs Landmark MoU with Malaysian Association of Hotels to Expand Global Career Opportunities

In a significant step towards enhancing international career pathways for hospitality students, Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH), one of Malaysia’s most influential hospitality bodies representing over 1,100 hotels across the country.

The MoU was signed between Mr. Isaac Raj, Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Association of Hotels, and Mr. R. Boomee Naathan, Chairman of Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at creating large-scale international internship and placement opportunities for aspiring hospitality professionals.

The signing ceremony was preceded by an impressive showcase of talent by Chennais Amirta students, who demonstrated their exceptional hospitality skills through intricate fruit and vegetable carving displays, blindfolded napkin folding, and creative towel art presentations. The performances reflected the institution’s strong emphasis on practical training and industry readiness.

Under this collaboration, more than 1,000 students annually are expected to benefit from  and placement opportunities across MAH-affiliated hotels in Malaysia. The partnership will provide students with invaluable global exposure, international work experience, and direct access to some of Malaysia’s most reputed hospitality establishments.
