IAS Officer Dr. V. Ram Prasath Manohar’s Inspirational Book “Karuvil Irundhu Collector Varai” Launched at 49th Chennai Book Fair

CHENNAI, January 12, 2026: The prestigious 49th Chennai Book Fair today witnessed a landmark literary event with the official launch of “Karuvil Irundhu Collector Varai” (From the Womb to the Collector). Authored by senior bureaucrat Dr. V. Ram Prasath Manohar, I.A.S., the book has already generated significant interest among civil service aspirants and the literary community.

The launch ceremony, held at the YMCA Ground in Nandanam, was headlined by Thiru V. Irai Anbu, I.A.S. (Former Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu). As a distinguished administrator and celebrated author, Thiru Irai Anbu officially released the book, highlighting its importance as a vital addition to contemporary Tamil literature and its value in understanding the nuances of administrative life.

During the launch ceremony, the first copies of the book were presented to two eminent guests: Shri Jayakumar Sudandhirapandiyan, the founder of The News Circle and a former journalist with the BBC World Service, and Shri S. Balabharathi, a renowned writer and recipient of the Sahitya Akademi’s Bala Sahitya Puraskar award.
