Hindustan Chamber of Commerce Marks 80th Year with Leadership Transition and Industry Collaboration
The 79th Annual Session of the Hindustan Chamber of Commerce (HCC) witnessed the election of Mr. Ramesh Dugar, Chairman & MD of Dugar Finance & Investments Ltd, as the 80th President for 2025-26. The event, presided over by Sri Dr. T.R.B Rajaa, Honourable Minister for Industries, Government of Tamil Nadu, also marked the launch of HCC’s 80th-year celebrations with the unveiling of its commemorative logo. In his address, Dr. Rajaa emphasized the importance of chambers like HCC for collaborative interaction between trade, industry, and the government and encouraged members to explore sectors such as EVs, drones, and shipbuilding. HCC President Ramesh Dugar highlighted the chamber’s motto, “Progress Through Enterprise,” and initiatives like the Udhayam platform for entrepreneurs.
