Cloud 9 entertainment organized Desi Fashion Mania in Malaysia bringing the fashion fraternity of India and Malaysia to collaborate in One Fashion Extravaganza.
Desi Fashion Mania was held on 3rd Feb 2024 in TSR Conference hall in Kuala Lumpur with this year’s theme being ‘Bollywood Barbie’. Malcolm, the CEO of Cloud 9 Entertainment mentioned that this is an effort to bring together and collaborate the fashion industry of two countries. DFM featured some of the top designers and brands from India and Malaysia.
Top Celebrity Fashion Designer Sidney Sladen had showcased a beautiful collection ranging from modern outfits and closing with gorgeous Indian wear. Anora Art Studio from India had showcased a lovely set of Red Carpet gowns.
Christlyn, Shubhi Joshi, Harita Shah, Shikha Singh, Sneha Khushi, Ramya Padukone and Ayesha were the models representing India. JayK and Yeshan Sarees had showcased their collection representing Malaysia. Models Sarah Cynthia, Kash Bhullar, Hidayah, Vikram, Bharat, Vienna, Natrah, Vanizha and Sharwita represented the line-up of models from Malaysia. Actress Ineya had walked as a showstopper for her brand Anora.
The event featured a power packed performance by Prithivee, the singer and model from Chennai along with DJ Viswa. The evening also had Jeevan singing a couple of tracks and emcee Pritha Manivannan had done a fabulous job. Dato SriG, Actress Indhuja and Justin from Alp Music were few of the invitees who graced the occasion. Vignesh from VVST, who was the local promoter of the event in Malaysia had told the media that he was very happy to have executed such a collaboration between two countries.
After the success of Desi Fashion Mania, Malcolm has opened up opportunities for International cross country events happening across the border.
