Chennais Amirta’s Sreya Aneesh Wins Gold at Hotelex China 2025, Honored by Chairman Mr. R. Boominathan

Chennais Amirta’s culinary excellence made global headlines as Ms. Sreya Aneesh, MBA student of Hotel Management, triumphed with a Gold Medal and the Best Overseas Award at the 2025 Hotelex China International Chinese Cuisine Championship in Chengdu. Competing against 175 expert carvers from across Asia, she impressed judges with her intricate Carp Fish carving using Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese techniques earning the highest score of 92/100 and a ₹2.5 lakh cash award. A grand felicitation was later organized by Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions, where Chairman Mr. R. Boominathan honored Sreya and her mentor Chef Karthik for their extraordinary achievement.
