Aditi Madhankumar (Disciple of Smt. Thejaswini Raj Shiva Jyothi Dance Academy) , Director – Elephantine, USA rendered an enchanting Bharatanatyam Arangetram at the Rasika Ranjani Sabha at Mylapore. The orchestra that accompanied her perfectly included Nattuvangam – Tmt. Gayathri Rajaji, Mridungam – Thiru. Balaskandan, Vocal – Thiru. Vignesh Ravichandran, Violin – Thiru. Sikhamani, Veena – Thiru. Anantha Narayanan and Flute – Thiru. B.
The Chief Guest Kalaimamani Madurai R Muralidharan Murhukumar along with Mr. Ramanan BalaGangadharan graced the Occasion.
Her spectacular performance was a beautiful compilation – Deva studhi – Thodaya Mangalam song, Margam – Alarippu, Bhajan: Hari, Hari, Hari. Hari, Haro Meni Gathi, Varnam, Dasavatharam and Sakthi Koothu.
A Bharatanatyam artiste with a great deal of talent, her grasp over various mudras and steps combined with a majestic stage presence won over the audience. This recital is a step towards bigger stages and other countries.
