Chennais Amirta International Institute of Aviation (CAIIA) has successfully conducted an exclusive two-day international aviation training program on March 2026. The event, held at the sprawling CAIIA campus, Mount Road in Chennai, provided students with valuable exposure to global aviation standards and a wealth of career opportunities in the rapidly expanding global aviation sector.

The program was led by Ms.Shaarmila Sandrasegaran, a seasoned aviation expert based in Hong Kong. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Ms.Shaarmila brings a wealth of expertise in aviation recruitment, customer service, and large-scale staff training. Her career began as a Cabin Crew member with Malaysian Airlines, followed by roles as a Cabin Crew Trainer and Ground Operations Specialist with Malindo Air.
Drawing on her extensive background, Ms.Shaarmila delivered dynamic, engaging sessions designed to prepare students for high-level international careers in aviation. The training covered a broad range of essential topics, including:
